Did you know that from 1 July 2019 families have access to 2 x $100 Active Kids vouchers!
Earlier this year the NSW government announced it will double the $100 Active Kids sports rebate, allowing for two vouchers per school-aged child every year. The program, first introduced in 2017, is designed to help offset the high cost of out-of-school sports activities for school aged children.
Rules for the second Active Kids voucher are:
- The second $100 Active Kids voucher will be available from 1 July 2019
- All vouchers are valid to 31 December
- All vouchers continue to be transacted in the same way
- The two vouchers cannot be used as a single $200 transaction for the same sport/activity (however it can be used for a different activity with the same provider)
Families can also use $100 Creative Kids vouchers to reduce the costs of activities such as drama and theatre, music lessons and coding.
