Flag Football Primary Schools Gala Days!
Flag Football is a non-contact version of the sport of American football where instead of tackling players to the ground, the defensive team must remove a flag or tag from the ball carrier. Flag Football offers students the opportunity to develop their physical, mental and social skills as well as their discipline. In addition, it will enable teachers to introduce a new sport to the school and provide variety to students.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Wednesday 10 June 2026 (Kenthurst)
- Hills Grammar School, 43 Kenthurst Rd, Kenthurst
- 9.00am – 2.00pm
- $220 per team (includes GST)
Wednesday 9 December 2026 (Barden Ridge)
- The Ridge Sporting Complex, Recreation Dr, Barden Ridge
- 9.00am – 2.00pm
- $220 per team (includes GST)
REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE – Registrations will close 2 weeks prior to each tournament.
GAME FORMAT
- 5 on 5 Flag Gridiron (5 players on the field at one time)
- Game are 20 minutes in duration
- Teams must have a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players
- 5 on 5 Flag Gridiron Rule book will be supplied one entry fees are processed.

DIVISIONS – Places are limited to 8 teams per division only.
- Stage 2: Grades 3 & 4 – Boys
- Stage 2: Grades 3 & 4 – Girls
- Stage 3: Grades 5 & 6 – Boys
- Stage 3: Grades 5 & 6 – Girls
Notes
- If a mixed team (boys and girls) is entered the team will compete in the boys division.
